My research explores the effects of parental substance abuse on a child’s behavior and academic performance in school. However, addiction can affect a child in a multitude of ways. For my interview, I chose a previously conducted interview based on Tori Brinkman, a 14-year-old girl who lived with a mother addicted to heroin for the first 10 years of her life.
